Customer Data and Privacy:

We are committed to responsible data management and subscribe to the principals of the data protection legislation in the United Kingdom.  We are committed to maintaining the privacy of our users and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you.  If you register for any of the Services you will be asked to provide basic personal information.  The information provided by you is not available for sale or use by third parties.  The information is used solely for notifying you of changes or updates to the Website/Services.

Terms of Sale

Please note: These terms and conditions only apply to purchases made in our Whitstable Gallery: 

If you simply change your mind  Chappell Contemporary  is happy to offer an exchange / credit note for items, provided that:

Goods are returned within a reasonable time. Goods are received in the same condition as when they left the gallery.

In both cases a valid Sales Receipt must be produced.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to offer cash refunds under these circumstances.

Refunds- Refunds will only be provided if:
Goods are found to be faulty. (Except where a fault was specified at the time of purchase). Goods ordered are unavailable. Goods provided are different to those on the original order.

We must be made aware of any faults within a reasonable time.

Under such circumstances refunds will be made in the same way as the original payment.

If you purchase items using the Own Art Scheme and cancel your credit agreement for whatever reason, you must immediately arrange alternative payment for any items purchased under the scheme. Cancellation of your agreement does not constitute an entitlement to a refund.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable, and any outstanding balance must be paid in full before any ordered item is despatched.


Ordering via the website:
The works represented on this website are original works which means that they are a one off or a very limited print run.  Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the order status shown on the site is correct an order is only confirmed when we send you an order confirmation by email that your chosen work(s) are available and ready for despatch.  In the event that your chosen work is not available you will receive a full refund of any monies paid.

Delivery:
Art work prices do not include cost of packaging and delivery which are charged in addition. The website will indidcate before the sale is complete the cost of shipping. Shipping cost is calculated from point of despatch (London UK) to your chosen address.  We ship artwork unfra,ed, however if you wopuld like a piece framed please contact the gallery direct for framing and specialist shipping ioptions. Shipping prices will be indicated once the delivery details are confirmed. 

You will be required to sign for the delivered package so it is your responsibility to inspect the work on delivery.  If your work should arrive damaged please record the damage in detail with the person making the delivery, and contact us immediately by phone or email.  We recommend that you photograph any damage to the external packaging before opening.  

Returns:
If you wish to return your work for any reason you must do within 7 days of delivery.  Simply return the works in the same condition as they were senT,  We ask that you return the item(s) in the original packaging or equivalent using a courier service with full tracking and insurance.   however delivery/return costs cannot be refunded, unless the item was found to be damaged or faulty.
